He made a proposal for an information management system on 12 March 1989, and he implemented the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the internet in mid-November the same year.

HTTP has finally reached version 2.0 after 20 years, indicating how well the protocol takes into account the growth of the Web.

3. Web servers and web browsers:- web browser (commonly referred to as a browser) is a software user agent for accessing information on the World Wide Web.

Web server is server software or hardware dedicated to running said software, that can satisfy World Wide Web client requests. The original Netscape has given way to many other browser-based applications, but the same client-server communication concepts still apply.

All major websites have adjusted their approach to content development and development to accommodate the rapidly growing proportion of people who access the Internet from small screen phones, not desktop and laptop computers.
